Detroit Metro Airport Parking Information

Parking Options

Both terminals at Detroit Metro - the McNamara and Evans Terminals - have their own parking facilities close by. The parking information line is 800 642-1978.

McNamara Terminal Parking

The McNamara Terminal has Short Term, Long Term and Valet parking in its parking garage. Access is available from both the Departures and International Arrivals levels. Follow the signs to the parking area you need.

Access to the terminal is by moving walkways and a pedestrian bridge on Level 6 of the parking garage. Follow the signs.

For the cheapest parking option use the less convenient Green surface lots near the Evans Terminal. Allow sufficient extra time for the free shuttle transfer from the surface lots to the terminal.

Evans Terminal Parking

The Evans Terminal has Short Term and Economy parking options.

Short and Long Term/Economy parking is available at the Big Blue Parking Deck which is reasonably convenient for the terminal. It is connected by a pedestrian bridge on Level 4.

Surface Lot Parking

The Green surface lot on East Service Drive is the other option for economy parking, it is further from the Evans Terminal though. A free shuttle links the surface lot with both terminals.

Disabled Parking

Designated parking spaces are available for users with disabilities in the parking lots. Specially equipped vans are available for wheelchair transfer to the terminals.

Cell Phone Lots

If you're meeting people from a flight use the free Cell Phone lots. The North Cell Phone lot is located on East Service Drive near the Rental Car Return area. The South Cell Phone lot is on the south side of Eureka Road between I-275 and the airport entrance.
