Parking Options

Washington Dulles Airport has Terminal, Garage, Economy, and Valet Parking.

Terminal Parking

Terminal Parking is an outdoor lot located right in front of Dulles Airport’s main terminal building. It is intended primarily for dropping off and picking up passengers.

Garage Parking

There are two Parking Garages located reasonably close to the main terminal. Garage 1 is north of the terminal, on the far side of the Terminal Parking lot from the terminal. There is a moving walkway to the terminal.

Garage 2 is northwest of the main terminal near the International Arrivals Building. The garage is connected to the terminal by covered walkway.

There are shuttle bus services linking both garages to the terminal. The Garage parking Shuttle operates every 5-10 minutes.

Garage parking combines the convenience of parking near the terminal with cheaper rates than the outdoor Terminal Parking lot.

Economy Parking

The Economy lots are on Rudder Road some distance from the terminal. A free 24 hour shuttle connects the Economy lots with the terminal Departures area.

For periods of a few hours to several days Economy Parking is the cheapest parking option at Washington Dulles. Allow more time for transportation to the terminal however.

Valet Parking

Valet parking is currently unavailable due to Covid-19.

Disabled Parking

Parking for users with disabilities is available in the Terminal lot, both Parking Garages and the Economy lots.

Cell Phone Lot

There is a free Cell Phone lot on Autopilot Drive at Rudder Road. There is a 60 minute maximum in the Cell Phone lot.
